What is the Random Number Generator?
A random number generator (RNG) picks numbers unpredictably from a range you set. AnyShift draws each number with your browser’s cryptographic random generator (the Web Crypto API’s getRandomValues), the same source used to create security keys, and both the minimum and maximum are included in the range.
Generate one number or up to 10,000 at once, as integers or with 1–2 decimals, optionally with no duplicates and sorted in order. One-click presets roll a die (1–6), flip a coin or pick 6 lottery numbers from 1–49. Everything runs in your browser; nothing is sent to a server.
How to use the Random Number Generator
- Set the Minimum and Maximum (both included) and How many numbers you need.
- Choose the Type: Integers, 1 decimal or 2 decimals.
- Tick No duplicates for unique picks and Sort results to list them in order.
- Click Generate, then Copy — or use Dice (1–6), Coin flip or Lottery 6/49.
