What is the PayPal Fee Calculator?
A PayPal fee calculator works out what PayPal deducts from a payment and what you receive. In the US, PayPal Checkout and invoices cost 3.49% + 49¢, goods-and-services payments to a personal account cost 2.99% + 49¢, and international payments add 1.5%. Friends and family payments funded by a bank account or PayPal balance are free.
Fee = amount × rate + fixed fee, so $100 through PayPal Checkout costs $3.98 and you receive $96.02. To receive exactly $100, ask for (100 + 0.49) ÷ (1 − 0.0349) = $104.12.
How to use the PayPal Fee Calculator
